How booking payments work, what you're charged, and where GST fits in.
Accepted payment methods
Bookings are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. You can pay by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay and others), UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and any UPI app), or net banking. All of these are cashless and processed instantly — there is no option to pay by cash at the time of booking online.
The deposit model
You pay 50% of the total cost as a deposit at the time of booking to confirm your slot. The remaining 50% is paid at the jetty on the day of your session, in cash or by UPI. Both amounts are shown clearly at checkout before you pay — there is no booking fee added on top, and no hidden charges.
GST
Walking Trees Adventures is a GST-registered business, and applicable GST is included in the prices shown across the site and at checkout. Unlike some smaller operators who fall under the Composition Levy Scheme and do not charge GST, our pricing reflects full GST compliance — what you see at checkout is the complete, tax-inclusive amount you will pay.
Payment confirmation
Payments are verified in real time through Razorpay. Once your payment is confirmed, you will see an on-screen confirmation immediately, and a confirmation email follows shortly after with your booking details.
Security
We do not store your card, UPI, or banking details on our servers at any point — all payment information is handled directly and securely by Razorpay. Every transaction is encrypted end to end.
Payment support
If a payment fails, doesn’t confirm, or you have any question about a charge, WhatsApp us with your name and the approximate time of the attempted booking, and we’ll sort it out quickly.
